1. Acceptance

Where an agreed written document conflicts with these website terms, the agreed written document controls for that transaction.
2. Website information and AI assistant
Website content and automated AI-assistant responses provide general guidance only. Paint quantity estimates, colour suggestions, prices, coverage, drying times, availability and delivery information must be confirmed by our team before purchase or project commencement. The assistant does not create a binding quotation, guarantee or contract.
3. Quotations and orders
An enquiry is not an accepted order. Quotations are subject to stated validity periods, stock availability, site conditions, measurements, delivery location and written confirmation. An order becomes binding only when we accept it and any required deposit or payment has cleared.
4. Prices and payment
Prices may change because of raw-material costs, taxes, transport costs, exchange-rate movements or supplier changes. We will confirm applicable prices before accepting an order. Payment schedules, deposits and balances will appear on the quotation or invoice. Customers should pay only through payment methods officially confirmed by Filadephia Paints.
5. Colours, samples and product suitability
Colours shown on screens, photographs or printed materials can differ from the applied paint because of display settings, lighting, surface condition, batch variation and application method. Customers should approve a physical sample where colour accuracy is important. Product selection must consider the surface, preparation, environment and intended use.
6. Coverage and quantity estimates
Coverage figures and calculator results are estimates. Actual consumption varies with porosity, texture, preparation, application method, number of coats and wastage. Final quantities should be confirmed after accurate measurements or inspection.
7. Delivery, inspection and risk
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Customers must provide accurate delivery information, reasonable access and an authorised person to receive and inspect goods. Report visible shortage, damage or incorrect goods promptly and before using the product where reasonably possible.
8. Painting and project services
Project scope, preparation, materials, timetable, access, utilities, safety responsibilities, variations and payment stages will be stated in the quotation or project agreement. Hidden defects, damp, structural problems, unstable surfaces, weather, restricted access or customer-requested changes may affect the cost and completion date. Variations require approval and may attract additional charges.
9. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Any cancellation, return or refund is subject to the agreed quotation, the condition of the goods and applicable Nigerian consumer law. Custom-tinted, opened, used, contaminated or specially ordered products may not be returnable except where defective or otherwise required by law. Contact us promptly before returning anything.
10. Product use and safety
Follow the label, technical instructions and safety precautions. Ensure suitable ventilation and keep products away from children, flames and incompatible materials. Professional advice should be obtained for specialised surfaces or industrial applications.
11. Intellectual property and acceptable use
The Filadephia Paints name, website design, text, graphics and original media are protected materials. You may view and share website links for lawful personal or business enquiries, but you may not copy, impersonate, scrape, disrupt, reverse engineer or commercially reuse our content without permission.
12. Third-party services
The website may link to WhatsApp, social networks, form providers or other third-party services. We do not control their availability, security, content or terms. Following an external link is at your discretion.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
